Unlike the previous ones, the current issue clarifies and extends the information on the assortment of the valves being produced. The catalogue has two volumes, contains over 1200 pages and contains information on the pipeline valves produced at 251 enterprise of the CIS.

A reference manual on industry-applied pipeline valves “Let’s talk about valves. 12 lectures for beginners” was issued in May 2005.

The reference book is written by Rafail Falkovich Usvatov-Ususkin, a most distinguished practitioner of the Moscow CVDB, and is intended for the readers involved in the valves market, but having not enough knowledge to find oneself well in the diversity of the valves products. The purpose of the book is to give some help to such people.
At the same time, this edition can help ordering and systemizing the knowledge of those already having experience of the work with valves.
The book is shaped as a series of lectures introducing the reader into a scope of issues, allowing to understand what the pipeline valves are about.

The book contains:

• data on the issues of terminology, application, installation of industrial valves at the pipelines and their operation;
• gives the major attributes of the pipeline valves classification;
• considers the main parameters and specifications of the pipeline valves;
